Gaze Burvill supporting Action Oak
For each of the first 100 seats sold, Gaze Burvill is donating £100 to Action Oak, an important initiative which seeks to protect Britain's native oak trees from disease through scientific research. These special edition seats will feature the Action Oak motif discreetly carved into the lower back slat.
Red Squirrels at Yorkshire Arboretum
In 2022, we visited Yorkshire Arboretum for the Action Oak Steering Committee and KEMP meeting, after the meeting we experienced a tour of the Arboretum where we learned about the highly anticipated Red Squirrel enclosure.
We're pleased to update that the Red Squirrel Enclosure opened on the 1st April 2023 and has been hugely popular!

KEMP Meeting April 2023
Hosted by the Arb Association at Stonehouse, we were fortunate to experience a tour of some local trees including a tree locally referred to as the Fairy Tree. We also saw the Edward II - Royal Oaks at Haresfield and Standish.
Seeing such amazing trees really reinforces what Action Oak is all about.

New Faces
Since our last newletter, Woodland Heritage have said goodbye to Guy Corbett-Marshall & Kelly Morss and welcomed John Orchard (CEO of Woodland Heritage), Annabel Stones (Membership and Charity Officer, Woodland Heritage) & Georgina Colman (Communications Assistant, Action Oak & Woodland Heritage).
