Researcher Spotlight - Ryan McClory
Ryan McClory, University of Reading, is working to understand the mechanistic drivers of oak masting. Ryan McClory, an Action Oak-funded researcher, has been tasked with researching this long-term phenomenon, fitted into a three year PhD, and passed his Viva last Friday.

At the 2023 partner event hosted by the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research, Action Oak spoke to Dr Rômulo Carleial, who gave an insight into his work. Dr Rômulo Carleial is a post-doctoral research associate for a Centre for Forest Protection project at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
